This has been a long time in the making, and while you might think I
was enjoying myself during the build, I wasn't. I have reconnected my
hatred for Maven during the last couple of days, something that I
thought I had left behind.
In any case: this is a vote for the second beta release of Wicket 6:
apache-wicket-6.0.0-beta2.
I have uploaded the source artifacts to my p.a.o account, signed it
with my key and ran the examples:
This vote encompasses the source distributions (tar.gz and zip) located at:
http://people.apache.org/~dashorst/wicket-6.0.0-beta2
It has been generated from tag: wicket-6.0.0-beta2 (which I have signed as well)
If you want to see what I modified between master and the release in
order to create it, checkout the build/wicket-6.0.0-beta2 branch.

I'm still in the process of massaging Maven and Nexus to upload the
convenience release artifacts to our staging repository, but as we
don't vote on binaries, it doesn't matter for this release.
