This was completed with mvn release:perform Now comes the issue of optimizing Maven's settings such that not too many unnecessary steps are done. In particular I'm looking at: - no need to reset HEAD one commit back in the release branch - no need to build javadoc jars (saves minutes from a release) - no need to enter each version number for the projects: release and new dev Martijn
