I have patched version from the previous post up here:

you can give it a try, test it, give feedback... We use it with Wicket
6.3 and Liferay 5.2.3 and will be integrating it in the near future with
Liferay 6.

I'm using it with liferay 6.1 and it working fine.
Support for wicket 6 would be nice. Support for portlet 2.0 also!
