Hi Emond, I just deployed 6.5.0 to http://www.wicket-library.com/wicket-examples-6.0.x/atmosphere/?0 and I tested few random apps to see whether everything is OK.
At the link above I see very simple UI (two input fields and one link). I think this page needs some description around these UI controls because currently I have to dig in the source code to understand how to use these input fields and what to expect when clicking the link.
