WICKET-4997

[Emond Papegaaij]

Hi,

2 weeks ago, we decided to merge WICKET-4997 into 
master first, and into wicket-6.x after the 6.12 
release. As 6.12 was released this week, I would like 
to go forward and merge the branch into 6.x. Any 
objections?
