Not sure, but stopped builds switching repository managers (work repository vs. maven central) might be one reason.
My guess is that downloads counting is difficult to measure accurately. Extensions being downloaded more than core is also odd. Note that this is across all versions. The reason I posted it was that I wanted to show if/how particular modules were used, and put that in context with our normal modules (auth-roles, core, etc) So bootstrap is actually used often. But I still think we should drop it (not keep it experimental-that gives the impression that it eventually will become a full fledged module), and in the release notes provide a migration way.
