This commit is in the released source tarball. Are you sure you are not using an older release? Line 727 of Page.java reads 'private void setNextAvailableId()', which is what it should be after d4c7cdbe7b62534ca537d175fc4a23f0ed56125b . Also, the release branch on https://github.com/dashorst/wicket/commits/build/wicket-7.0.0 shows the commit.
