Hi devs, With https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/WICKET-6334 I've changed the behavior of org.apache.wicket.core.util.objects.checker.CheckingObjectOutputStream. Now it makes the checks only if the root object is a Page (IManageablePage actually).
Since this is a behavior change I do not plan to backport it to 7.x! Please review the bug report, my analysis and solution, and raise your voice if your don't agree.
