Ok, I'll close it. I did expect the _spring_-injector to follow _spring_ semantics as much as possible. I had a different idea with the functionality. @martin-g is it not the case that beans are not serialized with the page (sorry for not checking) i.e. nulled before serialization, and re-injected after deserialization? if the beans _are_ serialized, why would you want the (stateless) beans to be part of the page serialisation state?
