Unsubscribe does not seem to work

Hello all,

Sry to bother you with mailing list stuff but I see I am not the only 
one who had/has this problem.

I want to be unsubscribed. And as a note: the emails should all contain 
an unsubscribe link or at least a link to the list usage instructions. 
It should be a straight-forward thing. It might even be a legal 
requirement nowadays - but I am not sure about that.

I did read http://apache.org/foundation/mailinglists.html and (in the 
past) another place that I don't remember now - where there are wicket 
specific instructions for mailing lists.
I tried sending the unsubscribe email in the past and now again but I 
received no reply nor did it work. A message to 
dev-unsubscr...@wicket.apache.org with subject unsubscribe or without 
subject has absolutely no effect. No confirmation email etc.
Is this a private list and someone (a human) needs to allow it? Some 
moderator? Do you know who manages this list?
