Heya! We have experienced that meeting in person, or virtual in a conference tool is a great way to connect on a human level. So I'd like to try to connect the wicket community in a more informal, and less prone to long winded discussion threads setting.
Therefore I want to try to set up a semi-regular virtual "meetup" in the #wicket slack channel on The-ASF slack. The slack instance is invite only, but everyone can join, we just need your email to send out the invitation. I know it is a burden, but this way the ASF is able to keep the accounts to only actually interested people, not mostly (AI) bots. Because of different time zones I call it "Wicket Breakfast and beers", I'm opening up the Wicket B&B today from 17:00 CEST (Amsterdam time), which is 15 minutes from now. I'll be online for 1 hour.
