The Project Management Committee (PMC) for Apache Wookie has asked Steve Lee to become a committer and member of the PMC, and we are pleased to announce that they have accepted.
Steve has been very active in developing the template system used to create and deploy new widgets, and has been contributing to the community on the lists and tracker for a long time now; we look forward to his continued contributions as a committer and PMC member. Being a committer enables easier contribution to the project since there is no need to go via the patch submission process. This should enable better productivity.
