Actually, I'm going to reevaluate this issue. It's in fact not a problem with
Axiom, but a bug in the StAX parser in the JRE. When {{IS_COALESCING}} is
enabled, it returns events in the wrong order. Axiom 1.2.x configures the
parser in that mode by default, but in Axiom 1.3 this will change, which is why
the issue appears to be "fixed" with the latter version.
I'll update the Stackoverflow question with a workaround.
