Hi all, Today we had a internal review in BAM team about using Default Templates in Reporting Component.
Participants : Tharindu Mathew, Buddika Chamith, Kasun Weranga, Chamath Bogahawatta, Maninda Edirisooriya. Review Notes: - Have thumbnails in selecting report template style to preview the style. Instead of the explanation in text of what type of report, show a preview of default image along with the report template type which will be easier. (Eg: Show a thumbnail of typical bar Chart report along with BarChart) - In the composite type report which holds multiple reports in a single report, when a user selects a sub report show a preview of the sub report what he/she selects. - Change the title of the page where the all reports are listed. Currently it shows as 'Report Templates' rather that, indicate as 'Available Reports' - Show the custom report templates which are uploaded by the users and auto generated report templates in different table, rather showing all under one table in the final list of templates. - Have 'generate' button along with the report name with 'Edit' and 'Delete' buttons in the final list of templates. - The order of buttons when adding the report template should be as '<back', 'create', 'cancel', rather 'create', '<back', 'cancel' Please add if I have missed something.
