I think you have interpreted my explanation in the wrong way :-).

When I mentioned Remote Server properties, what I meant is that properties
(Server Url, Credentials) about the Remote Server instance on Eclipse side
but not the properties of Remote Server.

For serves running in Eclipse, it has the total control over the Server
since the Model server in the Server Framework actually associates a
physical server underlying there.

But in the case of Remote Servers, we have only the model server in the
Server framework but no associated physical server.

Therefore it seems once we alter the information in the model server, these
changes does not seem to be persisted with the Remote Server model instance
although the changes are properly propagated to the model.
