Hi Charitha, Registry Social API is used for implementing open social features in GS.We have done some improvements to this API and there are some more work to do in this space. Though the current implementation of GS,wrapped with this feature,we are not directly using this API from GS .But with the new release of GS[GS2],we are planning to integrate open-social features to it properly with use of the registry social API.
