Hi, We are in the process of unifying Clarity test framework and trunk integration tests. There are a few objectives that we need to achieve by this effort. One is to run the same set of tests on Stratos without any modification.
I have observed that most ESB integration tests depends on services hosted on simple Axis2 sever. Those tests will not be compatible with Stratos as it doesn't have Axis2 service. So my suggestion is to host all the services on App server and proceed with ESB automation. We can easily achieve this as a part of on going framework unification work. But with this approach I see few problems, ESB product build will have to start after App server build. So this will caused some delay and if App server build fails, it will cause more troubles. If you are debugging or testing ESB tests locally, we can provide a option to point to existing app server build. Your inputs on this highly appreciated. Thanks, Krishantha.
