I guess we should increment the version number every time we upload to nexus (ex: hive-0.8.1.wso2v1 to hive-0.8.1.wso2v2), and change the necessary dependent poms. That should solve this problem. The overwriting of jars is a bad practice and we should discontinue this immediately.
This should be done for all ant build based dependencies, i.e. cassandra, hadoop, hive, we have uploaded. Relevant teams please note.
