I've checked the multicast scenario, with a latest appserver packs. It seems to work properly with a portOffset. But however when I checked it earlier, it didn't work in trunk, hence the commit.
And it seems like some commit has fixed the issue and now I could see portOffset is getting propagated into axisConfig.
