This is not the solution. We can't lose significant Tomcat features because our Carbon UI implementation sucks. The proper way to handle this in our UIs would be to somehow save it in the browser, and later resubmit it. Have you seen the GMail "Send Error" link? When a Send Error occurs, it saves the message in the browser so that nothing is lost. We need to implement this for our UIs.
