Hi Pradeep, With regards to deploying tests or not, I think its a open discussion as yet. Personally, I agree with some of what you are saying and I disagree with some. When it comes to tests, they are in two parts.
1. The Test Automation Framework 2. The actual tests AFAIU, we need to deploy the framework bits (that's the part that I disagree), and we need not deploy the actual tests (that's the part I agree). Anyway, this is an open discussion yet. Irrespective of that however, all of it is already on our Maven repos, so we'll have to plan on removing the unwanted bits too (if that's the conclusion). Next, the question of tags was because: if we have to create a 4.0.0/4.0.1 model for tests and test framework in branch, I was wondering whether we needed to have a similar structure in tags (just for the 4.0.0 bits). I guess it is not needed from what you explain, so we can forget about that aspect. With regards to running tests, this is solely to validate 4.0.1 stuff, and 4.0.0 is solid, and all tests are passing. And, that was not the concern WRT tags. Thanks, Senaka.
