Earlier Appserver BAM publishers are not Async, hence Sinthuja wrote a AsyncDataPruclihser to solve this issue. Now the data publishing part is very fast because all the requests are handled through a thread pool. But as I know the data collection, and the event creation logic are still not Async, this might me the reason, we have to look into this more.
