Hi All, Please find below, notes from Today's discussion with Issabelle on Improvements to API Manager 1.4 release.
1. Re position swagger documentation section in the Store UI (Possibly a new tab to be added), 2. The try me button to be removed from APIs (As this already resides in the tools section). 3. Some sort of mechanism to be implemented to make the "Try API" function easier, users should not be made to navigate here and there in search of the user token and etc. 4. As of now if you make an amendment to the Swagger document, whatever document already in place at the time of API creation is overwritten, this should not be the case. 5. UI Enhancements across the board (alignments and formatting to be fixed) 6. When including lengthy descriptions, with special characters in add/edit APIs section, even though the comment is persisted it is not displayed in the publisher nor the store, however when you click edit description, the original comment is displayed with the inclusion of special characters at some points of the string. 7. In the store/publisher when displaying the logged in user on top right corner, the User's First name to be displayed instead of the User Name 8. Adding/Editing a API takes time when a WSDL is referenced, this might be due to some validation of the WSDL happening in the background, further investigation to be done on this. 9. A User profile management functionality needs to be implemented. This is applicable to all products in the WSO2 stack. 10. The terminology used to describe access levels for APIs created needs to be revised. 11. A configurable version of the Jmeter Script used to test API Manager functionality to be made available with API Manager pack so that users can automate the process of creating roles and tenants. 12. The field length of "Authorization header" section in the swagger documentation needs to be increase 13. Regenerate key hyperlink missing in the "SandBox" area of the store. 14. As of now, there is no isolation between the stats gathered from production and sandbox, everything is consolidated in to a common result, this should change. In addition, API calls made, via the try me function in the store should not be counted under stats. 15. Integration with BAM 2.3.0 to be verified and tested. Please note that, for all the enhancements listed above JIRAs will be created and shared.
