We've been debugging this without the reporting feature installed. It still fails with the same error. We found that the issue is with AbstractCarbonUIAuthenticator#onSuccessAdminLogin. There, it calls MultitenantUtils#getTenantDomain(userName) with a username like PRIMARY/tenantUserName. This returns super tenant domain. We are further investigating the issue.
