The particular system property being referred to here, was removed with the
introducing of the multiple instance feature back then. The reason being
that this system property being a node specific thing could have an impact
where two nodes wanted to have their own registry roots. What Suho is
proposing is a little different to how it was used back then, where the
system property does not become something mandatory but an override to the
one defined in the registry.xml. This will make it convenient for those
running samples etc. While discussing we didn't find this to create any
issues, so I am in favor of making the change.
