I believe this concern is regarding issue [1]. @Sinthuja, can you please go
through this and see whether reducing the polling interval is a valid
workaround for the problem. If not, what other ways does the
data-publishing-agent provide of immediately detecting failures?

According to Chamara, both ESB and AS are capable to handling failovers
with zero data loss.
