Senaka, regarding this it seems you are using Solr 1.4.1 which seems to be
quite old compared to its current release which is 4.5. Thats why you see
it as a limitation of Solr. So, wouldn't it be better to have that in your
roadmap as a high priority item as we lose most of the features that Solr
gives. Otherwise, there is no point of using solr with such an older
version. WDYT?
