Hi Jayanga, AFAIK, the main reason for this is, IS samples tend to change frequently and we can't force the user to wait until the next release to try them out.
For example, we might have to improve a sample including a requirement specified in a specification. Since we have pointed to the samples svn location in the Wiki, when a user wants to try a sample he has the latest version with that new improvement. I believe maintaining the samples this way is okay as long as we point to them via the Wiki.
