This is the tagged version of the latest chunk release. If you want the
latest source code, you can checkout from the branch itself, though active
development do happen on the branch at times. Turing branch can be checked
out from https://svn.wso2.org/repos/wso2/carbon/platform/branches/turing/

Contains the svn tag created just after a release of a chunk. Source code
from tags reflect the code of released packs.

This is where development happens after branching from trunk. Different
branches have the latest code for that particular branch. Any new
development targeting a specific release on a specific branch will happen
here.

This is where the main feature development happens. However, currently the
carbon-trunk is a bit outdated since development on turing branch has not
been merged back. These changes will be merged back in the near future.

This is due to be released in the near future. But no exact timelines can
be given.

For DSS 3.1.1 and BPS 3.2.0, you can checkout from turing branch and build
chunk-05. For ESB 4.8.1 you would need to build chunk-07. For BRS you would
need to build the old 4.0.3 branch. If you need your components and
features also to be built from source, there is no getting around this
AFAIK.

If you mean installing different product features on the same carbon
server, this would not be possible since BRS 2.0.0 has an older kernel.
