Hi All, I'm setting up a Oracle RAC with two DB nodes with Network Shared File system. Currently I have setup the RAC successfully and the EM console can be accessed from [1].
But I have an issue where I'am not able to connect to the RAC DB remotely using sqlplus or JDBC with the SCAN (Single Client Access Name) name which is "scan.private.wso2.com". I believe this is not a issue with the RAC setup according to the following, - I can access the DB from within the rac nodes by using the following command, but cannot access remotely with the same sqlplus sys/rootp...@scan.private.com/rac as sysdba - I can access the DB nodes directly from the remote machine by their IPs as following. sqlplus sys/rootpass@192.168.18.117/rac as sysdba I have turned off the firewalls as well, does anyone have encountered a issue like this or can anyone suggest what can be root cause of the above issue.
