Yes, and for the recommendation part, you should use ML. In WSO2 ML, we currently do not have the support for recommendation algorithms. We use Apache Spark's MLLib's algorithm implementations. First step would be to research into the recommendation algorithms of MLLib and play with those and understand the nature of those algorithms.
