Hi Udara, When I was configuring nginx, I got the same issue.
I followed the following steps to fix the issue. 1. Remove every thing related to Nginx. sudo apt-get purge nginx nginx-common 2. Install the Nginx plus using instructions in https://cs.nginx.com/repo_setup <https://cs.nginx.com/repo_setup> 3. Add your configuration files and restart the nginx server.
