Hi, Those scripts are used to create the necessary database schema for bpel. Without executing this scripts, you won't be able to start the bps server.
As a first step, after configuring the bps-datasources.xml file, you have to execute this script against your preferred database. Or else if you have necessary database permissions, you can start the server with -Dsetup option.
