Hi Patrícia,

the mentioned feature only works with inbound endpoints [1] [2] that is
released with ESB 490.

Can you first try with giving the actual value using the GUI?

Then provide more information on the error and use case you are going to
cover?

Subject: Issue with externalize parameter values in WSO2
To: "[email protected]" <[email protected]>

Hi Malaka,

I'm an IT student in ISEP Porto, Portugal, starting to use WSO2 in the
scope of my final project.

Icame across this issue:
https://wso2.org/jira/browse/ESBJAVA-3595

You've a comment saying that

"User can give the params as registry entries using following syntax.
eg:- $registry:conf:/repository/esb/esb-configurations/test"

I have tried to define the folder location in the registry as such:

and then access it with:

    <parameter name="transport.vfs.FileURI"
expression="get-property('registry','conf:/parametros@directory
')"></parameter>

but without success, I always get an error "java.lang.NullPointerException
WARN - FilePollingConsumer Unable to set the sftp Options

Can you give me a clue on what I'm doing wrong?

Thanks!
