Hi All, There are few UI and UX improvement to be added to the Dashboard Server. There are few improvements already added to the Dashboard Server by Imesh for it's Alpha release. Now available and TODO set of improvements listed below.
*Added Improvements are:* - Move views drop down into the right side corner and make it automatically available. - Move Add view button to right side corner. - Introduce horizontal scroller with the arrows at two corners of multiple view tab bar. *Improvements need to be added:* Dashboard Designer: - Style the view configuration panel for gadgets. (Cannot scroll through all the roles when try to add roles to gadget) - Style the error message in the gadget when the gadget is deleted from the store. (This might change in future as to some functional improvements). - Marked pages with missing gadgets as a error pages and views by adding a caution icon on top right corner (Or any icon that mark the page and view has errors). - Style the confirmation when appeared in moving into anon view. make it more intuitive. - Design and Style the page which appear when performing "Add new view for a page" Dashboard Viewer: - Decide the best position to put the view switching drop down. Also we need to style this drop down. - As we move the light-dark, enable edit switch to User drop down menu available in top right corner need to style this. Dashboard Settings - Show enable and disable in share dashboard toggle button in order to make it more intuitive. Portal Home - Add separate theme for shared Dashboards. Hierarchical Page - Need to coordinate with UI/UX team to modify the ordering functionality of hierarchical menu. Need to design UI components which make it more intuitive. Ex:- Provide dotted lined block to drag and drop menu items. To Add above list of UI/UX improvement we need the help of UI/UX team as we improve the functionalities. @Dakshika can we get a person from the UI/UX team to coordinate with dashboard server team?
