Hi,

The 'Realm' that they are talking of seems to be having a one to one
mapping with the data source, which is more over the respective connector
in our terms.
But they seems to be defining a collection of realms and ping each realm in
the authentication flow to check if it supports the processing of user
credentials which is similar to what we do now.
+1 to look into this in detail.

Sometime back I looked at UnboundID, as they claimed of supporting the
unified view of a user. But they seems to be doing that with DataSync [1].
And oracle virtual directory [2], seems to be performing a join operation
with the so called 'join adapter' feature they have to provide the unified
view.
Just FYI, and those somewhat deviates from what we decided.
