As the first step, go through the Siddhi guide[1]. Then try to create and run some siddhi apps on *WSO2 Stream Processor*[2]. After getting familiar with the flow, you can go through Siddhi source code[2] and it's extensions' source codes[4], run some tests and try to understand how the work is getting done. You can also find the issues to be solved in the siddhi issue tracker[5] Please raise if there are any doubts.
