I burned out while trying to support IBM's internal version (and some of IBM's internal successors, which never saw as much exposure as they deserved) and moved on to other projects, and the current JSON/YAML mania has pulled attention away from XML (though putting front/back-ends on Xalan to handle those would be pretty trivial), but I'm still interested...
