I wish I could help more as I was the last person to perform a release and I've not found my release process notes for this last 2.7.2 release. Would you make sure the RC email or preferably the repo readme contains detailed and up to date steps for a PMC reviewer or any maintainer to run a full build? I do recall the site has some build instructions but I would imagine these are out of date. ty!
