On my fork, I've created "gold" .out files for bugzilla tests which didn't have them. Note that one of these is a performance complaint comparing Xalan 2 to Xalan 1.

All of those tests now appear to be passing, on Linux. Someone should test them on other platforms.


In general, we need to decide (in general or specific) whether tests that now pass should be

    1) Incorporated into the appropriate section of the regression tests (if they actually test something not already covered), or

    b) Moved into the tests/contrib directory (if we consider them interesting enough to retain), or

    III) Simply deleted from the Xalan repository.



I haven't seen a "merged" notification re my previous pull request from this fork. Did I miss it?
