Hi All,

Another question I hope someone can answer for me.
I can create a number of documents define in one document, an
instance with an element called "ElementA". If I then drag and
drop that element onto the other documents, it is allowed. I
can then enter values in the original and it also populates the
other documents. However, once I close the original, even if I
re-open it and re-enter some data, the "ElementA" elements in
the other documents do not change.

>From what I can see here, there is a temporary binding that is
created, although it does not show up in the Binding tab area
under any of the documents (except the original). While all the
documents are open, this "invisible" binding remains. However,
if the document is closed, the original binding deleted, then
the others are lost?

Can somebody please explain how this works, if it is suppose
to work this work or not? It is a feature that I would like
to use, but it does not make sense at the moment. I can understand
that a binding would have to be created in all documents to update
the form, but why does it not show? Can I create it manually in
a different manner (linking instances or something similar)?
Otherwise, I may have to look at storing the element values I want
to share into a macro holder and sharing it amongst the other
xform documents. Any other ideas?

Regards
Jonathon
