Hey, I am trying to convert an odt-document into html by using java and not having openoffice installed.
Currently I am only converting the content.xml into html but the outcome is very poor... I do not achieve to implement the images into the html-file and the layout of the html-document is very poor too... Has anyone of you realized a better html-result yet? My main problem is that I don´t know how I can convert all the xml-files contained in the odt-package into one html-document because I don´t know for sure how the xml files really work together. Is there a way to integrate the styles.xml and the context.xml into the conversion so I will get a better result? The document-conversion doesn´t has to be perfect, but at least the document should be readable and the pictures should be implemented too. The project has to be in java because I want to integrate it into a portal environment and view office-documents in a portlet. If someone could give me a few hints how to accomblish what I am trying to do I would be very thankful! Thx maxwell -- Telefonieren Sie schon oder sparen Sie noch?
