Hi
I am a new user of openoffice.
Welcome!
I run into a little problem and was wondering if can help me. Often I need to convert my latex files to word since some publishers want in word format. I use TeX4ht package and it converts perfectly to mozilla xml with matml. It converts to openoffice format also pretty well but what i see in mozilla is better. Unfortunately, I could not open the mozilla xml file in open office writer.
Mozilla XML? Most likely you meant XHTML?
There must be a xslt but even though I searched quite a while I found nothing.
We have a binary HTML import filter and no XHTML import, but an export.
I tried setting up an import filter using pmathml.xsl , but when i use this I get a general input/output error 2.
From your description, I am not sure, what triggered the exception.
But I assume you tried to use the pmathml.xsl transformation from the
W3C [1], which is only meant to transform Content MathML to Presentation
MathML, which browsers as Mozilla can show, when embedded in (X)HTML.
At this point my ignorance kicks in and simply I have no idea what to do. So my
questions are:
Is it possible at all to open an xml document geared for mozilla in the open
office writer for editing? What should I do to get this?
The two XML documents are written in different languages. You need to
find or write a filter [2] to transform one to the other, so the Office
is able to load it.
