Globally declared styles (the ones on the drop-down menu at the top left in OpenOffice.org) go into the styles.xml file. Styles that are created by, say, selecting a group of words and making them bold and italic, are "local styles" that aren't given a specific name, and those go into the content.xml file. > > Is this going to change in a later revision ? There is a (broken) link at opendocumentfellowship.org to their conversion. A previous version of the stylesheet is at http://books.evc-cit.info/odf_utils -- J.
