Subject
[xml-dev] Outline numbering import problem

Hello All,
I'm back to working on the xml import/export templates again and have run
into an anomoly I could use some help with. I've turned on outline
numbering in the DocBookFile.ott template I'm using to import docbook xml
into OO. The template works fine when just used as an OO template ie if I

double click it to start a new OO document, the outline numbering is
turned on and in the Outline Numbering dialogue it looks like
1 Heading 1
1.1 Heading 2
1.1.1 Heading 3
1.1.1.1 Heading 4
1.1.1.1.1 Heading 5
Heading 6
Heading 7
Heading 8
Heading 9
Heading 10

However, when I import a docbook xml file using it as the import template,

the outline numbering isn't set up correctly e.g. in the outline numbering

dialogue it looks like
Heading 1
Heading 2
Heading 3
<Heading 4 is missing>
<Heading 5 is missing>
Heading 6
Heading 7
Heading 8
<Heading 9 is missing>
Heading 10

Furthermore, If I re-apply the template to the document in OO using Styles

and Formatting, load styles (check all the boxes at the bottom), it gets
more screwed up e.g. in the outline numbering dialogue it looks like:
<Heading 1 is missing>
<Heading 2 is missing>
<Heading 3 is missing>
<Heading 4 is missing>
<Heading 5 is missing>
Heading 6
Heading 7
Heading 8
<Heading 9 is missing>
Heading 10

A comparison of the style.xml files in the OO documents shows that the
outline numbering styles are indeed getting modified during the import of
the docbook xml file into OO. Any ideas on what's going on and/or how to

fix this?
