I would like to get the following to align:

<text:p text:style-name="P4" >
<text:span text:style-name="emphasize">align</text:span>
<text:span text:style-name="emphasize"><draw:control
draw:style-name="defaultCBCfield" draw:text-style-name="P4"

svg:width="3.5cm" svg:height="0.498cm" draw:z-index="1"
text:anchor-type="as-char"

draw:control="controlcac_AccountingCustomerParty_cac_Party_cbc_EndpointID16"></draw:control></text:span><text:span

text:style-name="emphasize">align</text:span></text:p>

by which I mean that the word align in the first and last span are at
the same textual level as the draw;control

The relevant styles are

P4 (paragraph style):

<style:style style:name="P4" style:family="paragraph"

style:parent-style-name="Table_20_Contents"><style:text-properties
style:font-name="Arial" fo:font-size="8pt"

style:font-size-asian="8pt" style:font-size-complex="8pt"/></style:style>
<s:style s:name="P8" s:family="paragraph">
<s:paragraph-properties fo:text-align="start"></s:paragraph-properties>
</s:style>

(note I have used parent-style-name="Standard" as well without success)

emphasize (span style):

<style:style style:name="emphasize"
style:family="text"><style:text-properties fo:font-size="10pt"
fo:font-weight="normal"

style:font-size-asian="10pt" style:font-weight-asian="normal"
style:font-size-complex="10pt"

style:font-weight-complex="normal"/></style:style>

defaultCBCfield (draw style):

<s:style s:name="defaultCBCfield" s:family="graphic">
<style:graphic-properties style:wrap="run-through"
style:number-wrapped-paragraphs="no-limit" style:vertical-pos="middle"

style:vertical-rel="line" style:horizontal-pos="from-left"
style:horizontal-rel="paragraph"

draw:wrap-influence-on-position="once-concurrent" style:flow-with-text="false"/>
</s:style>

Now I can change the text:anchor-type of the control to be paragraph
but that gives me the control followed by both of the spans, which is
not what I want, anyway I have a very large example document where
these things work with text:anchor-type as-char, unfortunately after
trying for a couple hours and looking at what seems to be the relevant
styles of the working example and replicating them I do not get
alignment of the spans.

The attached example png image shows that the text is not aligned.

Cheers,
Bryan Rasmussen
