Okay. Let me tackle this first. I'm still new to the binary XLS format
filter code, but I'll trace the code & ask questions along the way.
A helpful source of information for the binary format may be
http://sc.openoffice.org/excelfileformat.pdf. And of course, questions
are welcome :)
