at some point in the various iterations of the Xform I'm working on that Xform became extremely slow. By slow I mean, 3 seconds to enter a character in a field. So if I write a name in a field it takes about 20 seconds or so to finish the character entry. Basically CPU usage shoots up to 100%. There are a lot of different things this could be caused by in the particular Xform, for example some calculations I am having trouble getting to work without calculating across the whole document, even though I know the exact path to the element. But I figure if this were the case the phenomenon should only occur on those elements that need to be calculated. Thus I am wondering if there have been any performance issues noted in the current Xforms implementation? Are there any form optimizations that one should look out for?
