Thanks, for reply. So, in order to have the XSL Filter able to run an XSD validation prior to the import/export, i'll have to add Saxon to OOo dependancies and hack the current code of XSLTFilter.jar ? It does not sound too hard to do however adding a jar such as Saxon to OpenOffice may be a little ... extreme, isn't ? (meaning it may have some side effect).
Also, Saxon SA seems to be a product (and not an OSS project) rather than an Open Source library, so I suppose you meant Saxon-B 9.1 ? (or i missed something here also). Hum, in fact, as you can see, i'm little bit confused by answer :) Just to be sure of one thing : you concur that there is, for now, absolutly no way or hack to get from, the current XSL Filter as it is, an XSD validation prior to import/export ? Or did you imply i could used Saxon to do this without any alteration of the OpenOffice source code ? 2009/3/19 Vyacheslav Sedov <[email protected]> > Best way is to use Saxon SA for this purpose, you can ask Michael Kay > > On Thu, Mar 19, 2009 at 12:19 PM, Romain Pelisse <[email protected]> > wrote: > > Hi, > > > > Provided I got this > > page<http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/Xml#Validation>right it > > seems to be no way to run an XSD validation either on import or > > export (when using an XSL filter to convert the document).
