I think the jars here are equivalent: http://www.ibiblio.org/maven/stax/jars/
Also, perhaps you set up an internal repo, copy the one that comes with xmlbeans dist, then you don't have the issue.
This request seems more suitable for [EMAIL PROTECTED] btw. There is a detailed process for getting things uploaded to that repo.
